Beerthoven Concert Series Presents: Family Ties
There are still a few tickets left at the door!
Beerthoven is proud to feature Mezzo Soprano Laura Mercado-Wright, member of the Grammy Award-winning choral ensemble Conspirare, in the uniquely intimate and down-to-earth setting of the upstairs room of Saengerrunde Hall. She will team up with Pianist Michael Schneider, hailed by critics as "a pianist with exceptional insight" and a "performer with great panache" in performances across the states and overseas to Poland and France. Joining them will be Violinist Christabel Lin, whose solo and chamber artistry has been displayed in performances throughout New Zealand, Austria, and the United States. This varied program will explore music by composers who were related to one another: Johann Sebastian and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, and Robert and Clara Schumann.
Come have a beer, munch on some snacks, chat with the artists during intermission, and listen to some world class music, all at one low admission price.
Buy in advance online and save! Student tickets are available at the door for $10.
While beer will be served in a neighboring space, this event is family-friendly. Kids are welcome!
The Beerthoven Concert Series is a Sponsored Project of the Austin Creative Alliance. Beerthoven is made possible through the support of the Austin Saengerrunde and individual benefactors.

How can I take some tickets for them ? I would like take two adult tickets, if I know that my three children have some place available.
Have you enough seating for the students ?

Hi! It so happens a couple of others have asked a similar question about reserving tickets but paying at the door. So we have just now created an option to reserve a ticket in advance at no charge. Student tickets are avialable for $10 at the door, so this way you can reserve a spot for your kiddos and they can get in at a discount. However, we ask that you come at least ten minutes before showtime; otherwise, if it's a packed house and others are ready to buy tickets, we can no longer hold your seat. Hope that helps! |
