Rossano Sportiello with Nicki Parrott, Hal Smith and Stephanie Trick
Do not miss this VERY special and unique concert. We bring to Marin County a phenomenal tribute to great traditional American swing and stride music, headed up by the sensational arranger/pianist Rossano Sportiello.
Playing with Rossano will be the premier jazz vocalist and string bass player Nicki Parrott, and that cool swinging drummer Hal Smith, a veteran of so many NPR appearances. Plus, on stage will be not one, but TWO pianos, as we make room for a young rising sensation in the jazz world - pianist Stephanie Trick. All four headliners display incredible musical versatility and a marvelous, innate sense of swing. From Ellington to Fats Waller, we guarantee you will be all smiles.
All profits from this concert will be donated to the Dominican University piano fund. We dedicate this concert to the late Doug Donner - a lover of jazz music.
