An Urban Christmas Carol - The New American Theatre Company NY
The New American Theatre Company NY is thrilled to announce its upcoming benefit performance - excerpts from An Urban Christmas Carol, directed by the company's founding artistic director and veteran Broadway actor DeMone. Casting details will be announced shortly.

As an actor, DeMone's Broadway and Off-Broadway credits include Ragtime, Miss Saigon, Rent and Black Nativity Now. As a director, DeMone's credits include August Wilson's Jitney, Regina Taylor's Crowns and Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, to name a few. He has previously served as artistic director of The La Mont Zeno Theatre, UrbanTheatre Company and The All Stars Project in Chicago as well as The American Theatre of Harlem in New York.
In keeping with The NATCNY tradition, audience members will mingle with the cast and fellow theatergoers in a pre-show cocktail reception beginning at 7:00 pm, with cash bar and complimentary hors d'oeuvres. The performance will start at 8:30 pm, followed by a prize raffle and party.
Admission donation ranges from $20-$100 and is tax deductible as allowed by law; the non-deductible value of goods and services provided is $17.50 per person, not including service fees. The 2015-2016 season "With liberty and justice for...?" includes performance installation piece Art To Action, a rolling world premiere of new play Upstate in collaboration with MPAACT Theater in Chicago and The Geffen Theater in Los Angeles, an evening with Tony Award-nominated Passing Strange composer Stew, a revival of Split Second by Dennis McIntyre and a Tony Award-winning musical to be announced.
