The Sunrise of AIDS - A One Act Play
The story tells of a granddaughter and friend who are too shy to ask their mother about getting tested for HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Grandma not only takes them but volunteers to be the first to take the test. When she's the one that's positive, the family must examine the effect it will have on them.
