Grandmothers to Grandmothers: A Decade of Friendship
Grandmother groups in Southern Ontario are collaborating to commemorate the first 10 years of the Campaign - International Women's Day (Mar. 8), 2006 - Mar. 8 2016.
The keynote address will be given by Ilana Landsberg-Lewis, Executive Director of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Grandmother groups will offer a marketplace. Entertainment will be provided by Allison Lupton and the Riddim Riders.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Stephen Lewis Foundation, for grassroots organizations in Africa run by and for African grandmothers - the heroes of the continent.
