The annual Christmas Concert, co-sponsored by the Berea College Music Program and the Campus Christian Center, will be held on two successive nights - Friday evening December 4 and Saturday evening December 5. Both performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Union Church. All are invited to attend this popular event and to join in the singing of traditional carols accompanied by College Organist Dr. Javier Clavere. Music of the season will be performed by the college's Black Music Ensemble, Bluegrass Music Ensemble, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Women's Chorus. Plan to attend this joyful candlelit Christmas celebration to usher in Berea's Christmas Season! A special holiday reception with light refreshments will take place immediately after Friday night's performance at the Berea College Alumni Center. TICKETS ARE REQUIRED for admission, those unable to secure tickets will be invited to join a Live Livestream at Berea College Alumni Center.
The doors to the church will open to the public at 6:45 p.m. each night with pre-service music beginning at 7:00 p.m. Although admission is free, TICKETS ARE REQUIRED due to limited seating. When placing your ticket request, note that we are offering two seating options for each night - main floor and balcony.
