Please join the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition and the Washington Recreation & Park Association at our joint Parks and Great Outdoors Legislative Day in Olympia, January 28, to advocate for Washington's parks, habitat, farmland, and outdoor recreation.
Never met with a legislator before? Don't worry, we will make sure you have everything you need!
The event will include:
- Training on how to talk with legislators - Meetings with elected officials - A reception at the Governor's mansion with elected officials, local leaders in business, recreation, and conservation, and remarks from Governor Inslee
This year is an exciting time for our outdoors! We are looking forward to advocating for improvements to our state's premier outdoors fund, the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP).
