ARTE Y TAPAS Mother's Day Brunch at the Red Poppy feat. The 3 Soulbirds
Mother's Day Sunday May 13th ARTE Y TAPAS continues at the Red Poppy Art House with live music by The 3 Soulbirds, and includes brunch tapas, specialty mimosas and tea by Lovage Cooking (see full menu below) plus visual exhibition "Steam and Ice" by Hiroyo Kaneko.
All are welcome to this special day event, especially our mothers in the community. Feliz Día de las Madres! All proceeds directly benefit the Red Poppy Art House and its feature performance, visual, and culinary artists!
$35 pre-sale, $40 at the door. Doors at 12 pm. Show 12:30-2:30 pm.

The opening event on Valentine's Day featured a Tango performance by Trio Garufa, Classical Revolution headlined in March, and April's pop up event at Studio 352 featured La Gente with Jordan and the Ritual and special guests MC Orukusaki, Kate Kilbane, and ZIva. Mother's Day ARTE Y TAPAS features three sets by the 3 Soulbirds!
The 3 Soulbirds http://www.facebook.com/The3Soulbirds After a packed performances at the Red Poppy Art House MAPP, The Boom Boom Room, and The Secret Garden, the 3 Soulbirds continue to come together to grace local venues and events in the San Francisco Bay Area. With guitars, ukeleles, and sweet sassy three-part harmonies behind them, Stina da Silva, Kat White, and Cristina Ibarra bring a mix of original songs and old favorites to each captivating performance.
Hiroyo Kaneko http://redpoppyarthouse.org/events/category/exhibitions-and-openings/ Hiroyo Kaneko is currently based in San Francisco, California. Born in Aomori, Japan, she received her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2005 and a BA in French Literature from Maiji Gakuin University, Tokyo in 1987. Her work has been exhibited extensively in the United States and Japan including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Headlands Center for the Arts, the San Francisco Art Commission Gallery, Rayko Photo Center, the Nagasaki City Library and the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo. In 2009, Kaneko was a recipient of the Santa Fe Prize for Photography. Her work is in the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Rayko Photo Center.
