"Definitions: a play on love", is an incredibly collaborative show show featuring six one act plays. Although each play deal in the contructs of love, each operates in a different genre of theatre. Join us as we show all the many shades of "love" when applied to satirical text, theatre of the absurd, or dramatic play. We can't guarantee that each production will provide concrete answers, but they will certainly pose questions!

Sure Thing by David Ives, directed by Aubrey Lace Taylor Sure Thing is a short SATIRICAL play by David Ives featuring a chance meeting of two characters, Betty and Bill, whose conversation is continually reset by the use of a ringing bell, starting over when one of them responds negatively to the other. Our team has broken up the original text, allowing SIX characters to share the dialogue. The concept is designed to illustrate how our subconscious thoughts and every day conversation is shared or manipulated by the people around us.
Fistfight with God, directed by Matthew Ip Shaw Fistfight with God is a product of THEATRE OF THE ABSURD. In this short One Act a young couple meets, falls in love, gets married, questions their sexuality, and deals with infidelity- all in the matter of a 10 minute airplane ride.
