CHAMPSFEST 2012
CHAMPSFEST is a community music festival produced by AER (Arts & Entertainment Radio) and CHAMPS Charter High School of the Arts The festival features 12 hours of non stop music with local high school talent as well as professional touring acts.  It's also an opportunity for community groups to meet the public and each other in a fun filled relaxed family environment.  

The festival attracts people of all ages from the CHAMPS community, the Van Nuys area, the San Fernando Vally and from the Greater Los Angeles Region. The festival is set up and run by the students in AER, a student run online radio station that has been nationally recognized as America's most creative and innovative high school radio station. CHAMPS student and parent volunteers help more and more as the date approaches.

The festival is not only an important expression of CHAMPS culture and a chance for the school to open its doors to the community but is also becoming a wonderful way for the local community to come together, galvanize it's local talent and resources and bring a stronger sense of unity and identity to its population.
