Join star of the silver screen and television Julie Adams for a special screening of Creature From the Black Lagoon (1954) in Stereoscopic 3D on 35mm film at the Academy Theater. Ms. Adams will be available for meet and greet and autograph signing starting at 6:00 and Q & A following the movie.
Film summary: A strange prehistoric beast lurks in the depths of the Amazonian jungle. A group of scientists try to capture the animal and bring it back to civilization for study.
Best known for her role as Kay Lawrence in the sci-fi classic CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (1954), Julie Adams' career has spanned many decades and genres. She has now written her autobiography, LUCKY SOUTHERN STAR: REFLECTIONS FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (2011), and is currently touring the country meeting fans of all ages and signing their copies of her book, publicity photos and memorabilia.
