A Celebration of Harold Pinter
Harold Pinter, best known to the world as a playwright, was also the
author of a remarkable body of poems. In 2005 Harold Pinter asked
Julian Sands to give voice to a selection of these at a benefit
recital in London. In "A Celebration of Harold Pinter," Sands shares
this recital along with commentaries, prose, quotations and anecdotes
drawn from his experience working with Pinter. Sands presents a rich
and entertaining theatrical portrait of his fascinating subject. "In
these spare but complex, works there is an extraordinary revelation of
personal feeling at once poignant, profound and often humorous."
