FIREFACE - presented by SPLINTER GROUP
SPLINTER GROUP presents "Fireface" by Marius von Mayenburg, directed by Paul Budraitis
***PLEASE NOTE*** The play will take place in an undisclosed private residence. Audience members will be asked to gather at a given meeting point, and will be taken to the location as a group. They will be returned to the pick-up point after the performance. Once a ticket is purchased, the address and directions to the meeting point will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the ticket purchaser during the purchasing process.
ABOUT THE PLAY: Kurt is a young man who is about to cross the threshold into adulthood, but who is so terrified by the prospect of living the same kind of unfulfilling, pedestrian life that he sees his parents living that he begins to lash out by setting fire to buildings around town.
Olga is his slightly older sister. She feels the urges of her burgeoning sexuality and begins to explore those urges with her brother, and later with a kind young man from a broken home named Paul.
Kurt and Olga's parents are doing the best they can, but they just can't seem to come to terms with the changes they've been seeing in their children lately. After all, they're just trying to help them prepare for living a normal, productive life.
