Deb Auer Sings Jazz at Pangea
Deb Auer sings classic jazz and bebop and adds in moments of theater, often written by acclaimed East Village playwright, Jim Neu.
Deb Auer has been singing and acting in the East Village for .... well .... long enough to know how. She had the good fortune to perform with Jim Neu in several of his shows at La MaMa. Deb presided over memorable gigs in joints gone but not forgotten, such as the St. Mark's Bar & Grill and the C-Note. She sang here in Pangea's beautiful cabaret room this past September and one fan wrote: " It's how I imagined New York would be every night before I moved here from the hinterlands."
"Grateful to have heard the mesmerizing Deborah Auer, with the incredible Neal Kirkwood on piano, and Don Moore's heart-stopping bass riffs on the Vladimir Alexandrovich Dukelsky (aka Vernon Duke) classic 'Autumn in New York.' Jamie Leo, Facebook
