Occupy the Economy: An Evening with David Barsamian
Occupy activists are asking, "What's next for our movement?" David Barsamian says the movement must go deeper in tackling the decades-long assault on the 99 percent. In this special Portland appearance, the founder of Alternative Radio will share from Occupy the Economy: Challenging Capitalism, his latest book, co-authoed with prominent economist Richard Wolff. This event is a benefit for KBOO 90.7 FM community radio and is sponsored by KBOO 90.7 FM and First Unitarian Church of Portland.
"Richard Wolff and David Barsamian truly understand, at the deepest levels, both the need for political, social, and economic change in this nation, and the ways such change can happen..." - Thom Hartmann, internationally syndicated radio/TV host.
