Kids on Stage Workshop
The Theater Company of Hoboken along with Speranza Theater Company presents a new workshop for children in grades 4-6.
Kids on Stage is a 5-week course that serves as a collaborative environment where children are encouraged to write and star in productions of their own work. We work in a group setting, allowing children to experience team work and collaboration, all while exploring their own creativity. Once the plays are written, we go into rehearsal, incorporate technical elements (lights, sound, costumes) and put up the finished play for an audience.
Held in TTC's Studio C413, on the 4th floor of the Monroe Center for the Arts in Hoboken on Saturday mornings from 9am-11am, starting April 21, 2012. All must pre-register to be a part of the workshop.
