Wrightslaw Special Education Law and Advocacy Training
Pete Wright provides special education law and advocacy training for parents, advocates, attorneys, educators, and others who want to ensure that children with disabilities receive quality special education programs.
Wrightslaw's Special Education Law & Advocacy Training Program focuses on four areas: * special education law, rights and responsibilities * tests and measurements to measure progress & regression * SMART IEPs * introduction to tactics & strategies for effective advocacy. Registration fee includes four books.
Pete is an attorney who represents children with special educational needs. In second grade, he was diagnosed with learning disabilities including dyslexia, dysgraphia and ADHD. His determination to help children grew out of his own educational experiences.
