Sonoma County Land for Food Production: Community Stakeholder Meeting
Join us on Wednesday, April 4, 6:30 8:30 at the Santa Rosa Vets Building to learn more about the application process for Phase I of the County Land for Food Production project. The meeting represents the official release of the application process for securing County-owned land for a community gardens. The application will have a list of the county sites being made available for the program at this time; general guidelines for community gardens under this program are also included in the Application. We invite interested parties to indicate their interest in phase 1 of this program by completing the Application information. Responses will be evaluated, and interested parties will be advised if they have been selected to respond to a Request for Proposal to provide more details on budgeting and a site plan for the development and management of a community garden on county lands.
