You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown at University High School
Sheer fun is coming to Uni's Stivelman Theater in December with the production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."
The show is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the comic characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip "Peanuts." It debuted in March, 1967 in New York's East Village and was an immediate hit, continuing for an amazing total of 1,597 performances over the next four years.
But that was just the beginning. "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" spread across the country on a U.S. Tour in 1970, played on Broadway in 1971 and was then revived for a 1998 U.S. Tour, a 1999 revival on Broadway and special production for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2008.
Produced by Uni's Director of Theatre Arts Ronnie Sperling, with choreography by Lindsey Lorenz and musical direction by David Kamenir, the cast of this Broadway classic includes (alphabetically):

Supported by UCLA's Beyond the Bell program for the performing arts, performances are slated for the Stivelman Theater on campus (11800 Texas Avenue, Los Angeles):
(1) December 3 (Thursday), at 7:30 p.m.
(2) December 4 (Friday) at 7:30 p.m.
(3) December 5 (Saturday) at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at $10 for adults and $5 for students (with identification) via credit card on this site, or at the Uni Student Store or at the door (cash only). Online purchases carry a 99-cent fee plus a 3.5% charge for credit-card processing.
Ample street parking is available around the Uni campus. The Stivelman Theater entrance is on Texas Avenue.
