BUSTIN' OUT SPRING TRASHION SHOW
The Methow Valley's spring collection is in full bloom and on April 28th you too can blast out of the winter doldrums and be part of the Bustin'Out Spring Trashion Show. Confluence Gallery hosts this evening of extravagant fashion design. If last year's show is any indication, this year's partygoers will be delighted and potentially shocked at the parade of pure imagination and ingenious fabrications. Marvel as ordinary cast offs from our daily lives are transformed into stunning outfits fit for Paris, Milan, or New York.
The fashion show evening will include music, a paparazzi photo booth and sumptuous drinks and appetizers. For all you designers, closet designers, theatrical types or just plain exhibitionists there will be plenty of opportunity to win big, big prizes. Bring it on, whether it's a flamboyant upcycled/recycled costume, or a clever, crafty, subtly stimulating design. Outfits will be judged on creativity, craftsmanship, ingenious use of unconventional materials and crowd appeal.
Celebrate the fecundity of spring by unleashing your inner diva. Channel lady Gaga, Coco Chanel or better yet, embrace your own upcycling fashion muse. Everyone is welcome to enter the competition, or just join the boisterous crowd cheering the audaciousness of friends and neighbors on the runway.
