A MEMORY, A MONOLOGUE, A RANT, AND A PRAYER Writings to Stop Violence Against Women and Girls Edited by Eve Ensler and Mollie Doyle Directed by Casey Harding A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer is a groundbreaking collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and playwrights. These diverse voices rise up in a collective roar to break open, expose, and examine the insidiousness of violence at all levels. Featuring selections by Edward Albee, Periel Aschenbrand, Michael Cunningham, Mollie Doyle, Eve Ensler, Carol Michèle Kaplan, Nicholas D. Kristof, James Lecense, Winter Miller, Kathy Najimy, Lynn Nottage, and Howard Zinn. V-Day is a global activist movement to stop violence against women and girls. It is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money, and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. Proceeds from this production will benefit the Hope House of Milwaukee and the international V-Day campaign, providing funds to grassroots organizations and programs that work to stop violence against women and girls worldwide.
