Presentation: Community based red panda conservation in Panchthar-Ilam-Taplejung Corridor, eastern Nepal
The Panchthar-Ilam-Taplejung (PIT) corridor occupying its trans-boundary location in eastern Nepal supports 25% of total red panda population in Nepal. Red Panda Network (RPN) with the goal of maintaining viable red panda population in this corridor is actively working through the establishment of a community-based conservation model since 2007.
