TransportedSF Chill Bus with Dr. Toast & F'kir!
You don't always want the cray cray bump and grind. Sometimes you'd just rather be guided to beautiful places, while beautiful music plays and wonderful people surround you. We here at TransportedSF hear you. And we're here for you.
For those unfamiliar with the concept: this is a mobile party on board a biodiesel/solar powered bus with 2 great producers. And with couches lining the sides, a great sound system, and a dancefloor in the back this is no ordinary bus. We stop at 2-3 beautiful outdoor locations over the course of our ride for dancing and merriment.
Dr. Toast is a stealthy producer of deep, abstract, hypnotic beats. His influences run the gamut from ambient to breaks to hip hop to IDM to psychill - which are layered together into lush washes of otherworldly sound, and always with a deep, thumping, head-nodding foundation. As a longtime member of the False Profit crew, he has been performing original material live on his laptop at underground parties in San Francisco since 2003, and has been known to make appearances on soundsystems from New York City to Black Rock City.
