Girls Fight Night Out
Have you ever wanted to take a self-defense class, have cocktails and go shopping with friends, all the while doing something positive by supporting your local artists? If so, March 8th is the night for you.
You are cordially invited to Girls Fight Night Out!
This is a fundraising event for "The Collectibles," a new, Seattle-based comedy Web series that will be launched in early April. This home-grown show can best be described as "Superheroes" meets "The Office," and many of the talented cast and crew are based right here in West Seattle.
By attending Girls Fight Night Out, you can support these folks and help to complete the series' first season (10 episodes) of production.
Yes, they are dressed as superheroes! Yes, they have their own action figures! Yes, they have cool merchandise you can buy! Yes, this will be a hot show! Please come and be their superhero. Girls Fight Night Out will feature a one-hour self-defense class taught by Lisa Skvarla, chairwoman of the American Women's Self-Defense Association, a national organization that promotes and teaches women's self-defense. She also plays the character Ultrafemme on "The Collectibles."
