ABOUT THE GREENPOINT CHURCH SOUP KITCHEN:
The Greenpoint Church Hunger Program is the largest emergency food distribution center in North Brooklyn, serving over 1000 of our neighbors each month.
We open our doors to the community for a weekly meal and food pantry and make an effort to source our meal locally, including growing vegetables and herbs in our communally tended backyard garden. We believe that nourishing food prepared and eaten together with love and dignity should be available to all.
