Breezes from Spain are back for a very special evening of enchanting entertainment with Carolina Lugo's & Carolé Acuña's Ballet Flamenco. This mother and daughter duo and their company of international musicians and dancers will burn the floor with the pulsating sounds of footwork, song, castanets, syncopated hand clapping and guitar, painting a visual canvas in movement. If you have not seen this world renowned company in one of their many Concert Hall performances, this is an opportunity to experience the high energy, passion and mastery of their artistry that defines a new dimension in Flamenco and Spanish dance.
The Brava Theatre in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District, is surrounded by many wonderful inexpensive restaurants and cafes. This remodeled vintage movie theater, once known as the York, has excellent site lines from all seats. Arrive early to find parking on the street in this family neighborhood. The theater is a ten-minute walk along the well-traveled, shop-lined 24th Street heading east from the 24th Street BART Station.
