About Mercy Mercy got her first taste of roller derby in Dallas, Texas from 2006-2008 before moving to Honolulu and skating with Pacific Roller Derby for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. In 2011, she joined the Rose City Rollers All-Star Team at nationals and was named RCR's Blocker of the Year. As the captain in 2014, she lead her team to a gold medal for International Playoffs and a silver medal for International Championships. Mercy is a member of Team USA and a proud member of Team Vagine.
As a coach she believes her job is to challenge skaters, pushing them beyond their self-imposed limitations and to help them play at your highest level of intensity and skill. Her dynamic coaching style echoes the ever changing sport or roller derby.
What to Expect from a Clinic After 6 years of coaching, Mercy has an adaptive range of coaching proficiencies. She specializes in creating well rounded clinics from blocking to jamming and individual skill to team training. She provides limitless tips and feedback to skaters of all skill levels.
