The Village Playhouse presents Arrangement For Murder No. 2 by Eric Appleton.
Valerie finally has the painting she has always dreamed of. The fact her husband Fred had to sell some real estate and drain a stock portfolio to pay for it is of no importance. She just hopes Fred doesn't realize there is more to her obsession with this painting than meets the eye.
Richter is climbing the social ladder, using his friendship with Valerie and Fred to raise his own status while hoping that no once looks too closely at his past.
Anne meets Richter in a coffee shop. On their second date (dinner with Fred and Valerie), Anne is horrified to realize that Richter might discover something she'd rather keep hidden.
