Brock Jobe, Professor of American Decorative Arts, Winterthur (Retired May 2015)
Brock Jobe's impressive career in museums includes positions at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Colonial Williamsburg, the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (now Historic New England), and Winterthur Museum. He is the co-author of New England Furniture: The Colonial Era. His presentation for CHS will focus on decorative arts from our collections, offering in-depth examination of several objects connected to a discussion of the larger context of New England decorative arts.
