Getting Lucky - Live DVD Filming!
On December 9th and 10th, Standup comic and KC native, Lucky DeLuxe (Susanna Lee), brings her most recent 1-woman show, "Getting Lucky: A Stand-Up Show From A Lay-Down Lady" back to Kansas City. These shows will be held at The Fishtank Performance Studio (1715 Wyandotte), with showtimes both nights at 9pm. There will also be an 11pm show on Saturday night. Making it's debut in the 2011 Kansas City Fringe Festival, and winning the "Best Of Fringe" award for it's venue (The Fishtank), "Getting Lucky" incorporates standup comedy, storytelling, audience participation, and burlesque performance into one cohesive hour-long show. These performances will be recorded as her first dvd, for both commercial release and industry purposes.
Lucky DeLuxe (Susanna Lee) has been seen and heard on: Last Comic Standing, Beverly Hills Brides, Girls Behaving Badly, America's Court, and Sirius XM / Rawdogs Comedy Channel. In 2011 alone, she has performed at the Ventura Comedy Festival, New York Burlesque Festival, New Orleans Burlesque Festival, Kansas City Burlesque Festival, Colorado Burlesque Festival, and the Show Me Burlesque Festival, in addition to her regular touring schedule. In January 2011, she relocated from Kansas City to Los Angeles. Lucky DeLuxe (Susanna Lee) has been lauded for her original material, which is always personal, uncensored and charmingly honest.
