A SAN FRANCISCO NEW YEAR'S COMEDY SHOW
" Best Comedian " - SF Weekly " Best Alternative to Psychedelic Drugs " - SF Bay Guardian
San Francisco has always been a crucible for artists, poets, dreamers and schemers... Come spend an evening of comedy & surprises with our most innovative performers.
Headlining is Actor, Writer & Comedic Dervish Will Franken, a Bay Area treasure who is best described as a "one man Monty Python".
Joining Will on stage will be some the Bay Areas most memorable performers: Kurt Weitzmann - The writer of smash hit shows "The Jesus Roast" and the "Obama Roast" will tickle your funny bone & make you think with his surreal take on life. Natasha Muse Creator and host of the monthly comedy series "A fun night for Comedy"; Natasha has a cool, smartly sardonic style that goes down easy. Eric Cash - Expect verbal anarchy by an underground fave just back from a triumphant tour of New Zealand and Australia. Frisco Fred - Your host - seen on A&E, FOX & PBS - a hi-energy blend of comedy & circus skills.
Plus surprise guests!!! AGE - 16 and up
"Franken wanders through a parallel-universe city populated by hipsters who challenge John Milton to poetry slams and crass marketers of women's empowerment symposia, among other fun-house imaginings. " The Onion
"San Francisco has nurtured many of comedy's biggest names, and Will Franken is destined to be one of them." San Francisco Chronicle
