MCC 2015 Merdeka/Hari Raya Picnic
Let's have a GREAT SUMMER PARTY and celebrate belated HARI RAYA. This year... with fresh MSK durian.
MCC is organizing our annual Merdeka Day's (Malaysia Independence Day) Picnic event in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
Local Malaysian delicacies will be served to satisfy your craving. Also, this year, we will have 10-20 biji imported Musang King Durian to share. Dear non-durian fans, you have never tried Malaysian MSK Durian if you still are not a fan. But don't worry, we will be in a well ventilated area to maintain your well being. Dear true-durian fans, this is our lucky day. Only at this picnic that we get to enjoy MSK (limited quantity) and have many people around to share our unique passion with.... just like home!
Besides food, we also will have some games, activities and competitions for kids and adults. Absolutely a fun family event! Please come and join us on August 29, 2015 (Saturday).
12:30 p.m. Guests Arrival and Check-in
1.00 p.m. Negaraku and Kompang Performance
1.20 p.m. Lunch and Networking
2.15 p.m. Durian Time (quiz, contest, makan)
3.00- 5 p.m. Games, lucky draw, activities and competitions
Location: our picnic is at Busse Woods again and is the same grove as last year 2014. Make sure you look for Grove 29. It is located at the junction of I-90 and I-290 in Schaumburg. Exit I-290 and go straight until you reach Golf Road. At the traffic light turn right going east. Then take the FIRST RIGHT entrance into Busse Woods. The MCC Picnic is at Grove Shelter 29.
Please bring lawn chairs and blankets. Bring soccer ball or other suitable sports equipment as needed. It will be quite terrible to have kids mistake durian as a soccer ball....
