SloMoSF
Most Friday nights James LaLonde (Pizzaria Delfina, Slow Club, Maverick, Salt House) and Ryoji Kajikawa (Rocketfish, Blowfish, Ken Ken Ramen) can be found at Mojo Cafe in San Franciso, making Japanese-by-way-of-California cuisine for their much-loved pop-up restaurant, SloMo SF. On November 18, 19 and 21 they'll be in on chef's vacation in Brooklyn, cooking a series of SloMo pop-up dinners with local chef, Kelly Geary.
The menu will highlight SloMo's special affinity for braising, creative flavor combinations and local ingredients. Sake-steamed clams, Japanese fried chicken, and ramen with housemade stock and noodles and seasonal garnishes are just a few of the items planned for the seven-course menu. All three dinners will be held at Geary's two-level commercial kitchen space on Atlantic Avenue. The Monday night seating is intended for chefs, servers and other restaurant industry denizens (tickets open to everyone) to have a chance to join in the bi-costal culinary fun.
Dinner at 8pm, beer, sake and persimmon cocktails included, no dietary restrictions. Tickets, $90. 1287 Atlantic Avenue, #1. For questions or press inquires, email info@sweetdeliverancenyc.com
