Taste Your Music Benefit Concert | Gourmet Symphony & Capital City Symphony
Enjoy a custom 4-course menu designed by Executive Chef Anthony Lombardo (The Hamilton) and Chef/Owner Andrew Markert (Beuchert's Saloon), in collaboration with Gourmet Symphony's artistic and culinary curators.
From Mozart to Mahler to American composer Samuel Barber, each pairing draws inspiration from the lyrics sung, the composers' cultural heritage, and our own work with the project's Charity Partners this summer.
Maestro John Devlin leads the Gourmet Symphony orchestra, featuring guest performers from Capital City Symphony, as well as special appearances by acclaimed soprano Mandy Brown.

ABOUT TASTE YOUR MUSIC
Gourmet Symphony and Capital City Symphony partner to present Taste Your Music, a groundbreaking community outreach program that brings culinary concert programs to DC's food service organizations serving hundreds of underprivileged residents during Summer 2015. The project explores the intersection between music, food, and fellowship, as well as attempt to create change in the way we approach the culinary and classical arts. Gourmet Symphony's critically-acclaimed format, combined with the dynamic musicians of the Capital City Symphony and partnership of local chefs, launches a new commitment to socially-conscious arts programming. Its pilot-year beneficiaries include Bread for the City, Miriam's Kitchen, and So Others Might Eat (SOME).
