SEVENTH ANNUAL SOUTH CHURCH GALA FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE
Dear Friends,
World class food and world class music, by themselves, make life a sensuous and elegant delight. Put them together in one evening, at the same place, and what you would have is a taste of paradise. Is what you could have at the South Church Gala, on the evening of NOVEMBER 19TH, beginning at 6:30pm.
From Paris, our own local French Chef extraodinaire, serving fine food accompanied by excellent wine; from Lincoln Center and the Metropolitan Opera, musicians from the world's stages, joined by local performing friendsand all of this to support the work of a congregation so in love with these little river towns, our world, the magnificent possibilities for being human.
If you haven't been able to come before, make this the year to treat yourself, your family and friends to a truly lovely and remarkable evening.
This year's themeis HUNGARY!! Goulash and Bartok, Tokai and Brahms. And we're adding something new this time, a silent auction of goods and services donated by some of the areas finest artists, musicians, dignitaries, and collectors. I will be sending more info about some of the wonders you can bid on soon, so keep an eye out.
Space is limited and the demand for seating is intense each year, so early reservations are strongly recommended.
