CineCares Foundation was established in 2014 to honor Nikolaos Mirkopoulos and continue the legacy of giving back to the community. Through the CineCares Foundation the goal is to make Chicago a better place for children and their families to live, work, thrive, and play by encouraging education initiatives, scholarships, and programs innovations.
Through this event, the board of the CineCares Foundation will provide resources for children and families susceptible to and/or impacted by violence in their communities. By providing positive alternatives to all children and adolescents, we seek to decrease the amount of violence and negative behavior impacting Chicago's neighborhoods, and for those without positive options.
