UN Day 2011: Global Rhythms Uniting Nations
Join the United Nations Association of Greater Seattle in celebrating the 66th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations with two spectacular events on October 22, 2011!
The first event features keynote speaker Will Davis, Director of the United Nations Information Center. Mr. Davis will address the current state of the United Nations and its progress against the Millennium Development Goals. The afternoon event includes a luncheon (included in ticket price) and a question and answer session with Mr. Davis.
The second event features world-renowned musical artists representing four continents. Performers include Andre Feriante, Spanish guitar virtuoso; Steve Thoreson, Italian tenor and 2nd place winner of 'Sweden's Got Talent'; and many more.
Want to see both events? Then be sure to buy to the Combo Ticket which includes the luncheon, admission to the Museum of History and Industry for the day, and the musical event for a discounted price! (The Combo Ticket can be found by choosing the 11:00 a.m. program on the ticket menu).
