Following its wildly successful, turnaway-crowd inaugural season in December 2009, Mark Foehringer Dance Project | SF presents its third annual holiday production of Mark Foehringer's Nutcracker Sweets, a unique version of the classic ballet Nutcracker with a contemporary twist.
Designed for young families and children. Morgan's re-orchestration of the original Tchaikovsky score, Crompton's whimsical and artful scenic design and Foehringer's unparalleled storytelling of the traditional story will take each audience member through a whimsical enchanting journey, for an outstanding holiday tradition for your family.
Join the dancers for the Candy Land Party in the Roundabout of Children's Creativity Museum (next door to the theater) after all 4 pm shows in December. An additional ticket is required for all attendees at the Candy Land Party. This is your child's chance to get autographs and pictures with your their favorite character.

Please arrive early. Downtown San Francisco is very popular and very crowded during the holidays. There is no late seating, for the safety of the dancers and respect for the audience.
In the theater, the use of any camera or recording device - including cell phones - is strictly prohibited.

Row K is wheel chair friendly. Seats in Row L can be removed at show time, to accommodate additional wheelchairs.

Row K is next to the wheel chair entrance. Families in this row can easily step out of the theater, if your child starts to squirm or make noise, then re-enter when your child is ready to sit again.

The capacity of the theater does not allow children without a seat, even if they sit on you on lap.
