Matt & Nora Brooks Fundraiser
Puppeteers are gathering at The Connelly Theater in NYC on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 from 7pm to 10pm to help raise needed funds for their friends Matt and Nora Brooks.
Master puppet builder Matt (The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland, Muppet Treasure Island, Crank Yankers, The Prana Piranha Show) and Nora (who's authored My Husband as a Sensitive Instrument, 5000 Evenings of Myrrh and Doves, and Soufflé of Engorged, of Long-Suffering Flesh) lost all their belongings after a gas explosion took place on March 26th in the East Village and leveled their apartment building.
Their friends are coming together to create a one-night only puppet variety show fundraising event to help them out.
