FREE Bellevue College Community Planetarium Show: "Stars"
DATES: September 16, October 7, November 4, and December 2 SHOW TIMES: 7:30 & 8:30 PM
ABOUT "STARS": Join us in the Willard Geer Planetarium at Bellevue College to view the show "Stars" and stay to take a brief tour of the night sky using our state-of-the-art Digistar 3 planetarium projector. Each show will last approximately 35-40 minutes.
Every star has a story. Some are as old as time, faint and almost forgotten. Others burn bright and end their lives in powerful explosions. New stars are created every day, born of vast clouds of gas and dust. Through every phase of their existence, stars release the energy that powers the Universe. Journey to the furthest reaches of our galaxy and experience both the awesome beauty and destructive power of "Stars."
TICKETING PROCEDURES:
RESERVED SEATS: Forty (40) seats for each show will be released on Brown Paper Tickets (this website) ONE WEEK in advance of each show date starting at 8 AM. There is a limit of 5 seats per reservation.

The Geer Planetarium at Bellevue College is the only community college planetarium in Washington state. The planetarium's Digistar 3 projector can accurately reproduce the night sky any time of the year or night at any location within 900 light years of the Sun. It can show the stars position in three dimensions, and allow realistic journeys through space.
Free community planetarium shows at the Geer Planetarium are sponsored by the Science and Math Institute at Bellevue College.
