Mountain Folk Fest
The Mountain Folk Fest is a day and evening long music, concert and social event that presents more than a dozen bands in a family-friendly, smoke-free environment. The style of the music ranges through bluegrass to roots, folk and Americana.
Free music mentoring classes are also offered and attendees are encouraged to bring their own acoustic instruments to jam and/or participate in the classes. Music runs non-stop from 11am to 9pm at two different performance venues and one teaching area in the facility. Clean bathrooms, good food and beverages are available.
Bringing video cameras is encouraged. Make happy memories! Casual atmosphere where you can meet all of the musicians as desired.
Bands for our 2015 event on Saturday, September 19, rain or shine, include: Special Consensus with their bluegrass music tribute to the music of John Denver, the Central Valley Boys from California, Big Valley Bluegrass, Uncle Jake & the 18 Wheel Gang, Scott Eager & High Lonesome Sound, The Mike Hertzog Trio, Crow Hill, The Hannah Violet Trio, The Mountain Folk Youth Bluegrass Jam Band, Jordan Bickhart, The Martin Sisters and The Travis Wetzel Trio. The entire show is presented by Dave Kline & The Mountain Folk Band who will also be performing.

There's plenty of free parking. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and cameras!
It's going to be a media happening with live radio and TV broadcasts of main stage shows!
Three individual music areas! Lots of delicious food and refreshing beverages, including an assortment of delicious and refreshing craft beers! Family friendly! No smoking facility. No coolers or outside beverages or food allowed.
Tickets are just $10.00 in advance or $20.00 at the gate on the day of the show. Children under 6 are free, children 7 to 12 are $5.00.
The event goes rain or shine. Tickets are on sale now at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center office, 1151 Mosser Road, Breinigsville, PA, or online at Brown Paper Tickets.
Proceeds in part go to benefit youth developmental cycling programs at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center and youth developmental programs for traditional bluegrass, roots, Americana and acoustic music through the Mountain Folk Scholarship Fund.
