The Joy of Cheese Presents Cheese & Beer Rules!!
Cheese and beer pair wonderfully, in many ways, they better than cheese and wine, but what are the best pairings? For instance what sort of cheeses work best with hoppy IPA's and what sort of beers match the pepper and earth of classic blues best? Please join us September 20 at 7:30 at Culturefix, the dynamic cafe/gallery space at 9 Clinton St. on the Lower East Side for Cheese & Beer Rules! We will pair off six wonderful cheeses and six awesome beers brewed in New York City by Sixpoint Brewery! The discussion will center on these pairings and what are good rules of thumb for pairing grains and curds. Then the aftermath can't be beat: open bar on all of the Sixpoint beer!! Tickets are $25.
