Benefit Concert Series with Portland Chamber Music
Join us for our April 21 benefit concert at which we shall honor Kate Lore and Paul Schroeder as the first annual "Lamplighters of the Year." The award is given to individuals in the wider community who have distinguished themselves in their efforts to serve those experiencing homelessness.
Proceeds from the concert go to benefit the non-profit work of Operation Nightwatch, St. Stephen's Table, and Portland Chamber Music.
Operation Nightwatch is an ecumenical night ministry of hospitality serving Portland's neediest. Partnered with St. Stephen's Table, a ministry of feeding/companionship, it seeks to build a healing community in downtown Portland (SW).
Portland Chamber Music provides fun and relevant chamber music performances and affordable music instruction. As a nonprofit group, our mission is to make economically feasible, mentally ingestible, local art music available throughout Portland. In partnership with Nightwatch, PCM's vision includes offering free music lessons to those who are undergoing the challenges of homelessness.
Free parking for all concerts is available at the PSU garage, located on SW 13th being SW Market and Mill.
