An exclusive Bay Area appearance by comedian and bestselling author Chelsea Handler, at the intimate 300-seat Z Space theater. Handler will be in conversation with Litquake co-founder Jane Ganahl, discussing the rigors of maintaining a writing schedule while hosting a TV show and doing the occasional stand-up tour, why books by comedians are usually not very funny, whether she gets male groupies, and her take on the best vodka to combat exhaustion. Audience Q&A and book sales and signings follow.

Chelsea Handler is a permanent fixture in American pop culture. She is an actress, comedian, host of the E! Entertainment talk show Chelsea Lately, and star of the new E! reality show After Lately. She is also author of four New York Times bestsellers, most recently "Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me."

Jane Ganahl is Litquake's co-founder and a journalist of almost 30 years who used to cover comedy. She interviewed Chelsea during one long evening in 2005 and had a wicked hangover the next day.
