Join us over the rainbow with Dorothy and Toto as they meet the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion on the Yellow Brick Road and go off to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz to find Dorothy a way homeall while battling against the Wicked Witch of the West for her sister's ruby slippers! Based on the 1939 blockbuster film, THE WIZARD OF OZ: Young Performers Edition is a slightly shortened adaptation for young performers and audiences.
THE WIZARD OF OZ: Young Performers Edition features NBYT's largest summer cast to date, with a total of forty-three actors ranging in ages from five to sixteen. Ambitions are aimed high for this year's summer musical, and it will also feature some of the most elaborate sets, costumes, and make-up yet onstage at NBYT.
