On August 3, 2011, California for Alabama is hosting a benefit show at M Bar in Los Angeles, to help raise money to continue our relief effort. The line-up is a combination of comedians and musicians, and 100 percent of the door, along with proceeds from a silent auction, will go to California for Alabama, a grass roots charity created the day after the devastation hit Alabama, on April 28, 2011.
So far we've been very successful in sending several trailers full of material goods donated by the people in California. Naturally, we would like to continue helping as long as there are needs to be met back home. Of course, with any effort to aid others, funds are needed to make things happen.
