Epiphany Water for Sudan Concert
The Church of the Epiphany Gates NY presents a great evening of music featuring NYC band Left On Red and Rochester's own This Other Life on Friday August 26. All proceeds from this event benefit Water for Sudan, a non-profit organization improving people's lives and health by drilling wells to provide safe drinking water in South Sudan. Concessions will be available. This is an outdoor event, in a festival tent, which will be held rain or shine. Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. No carry in food or beverages are allowed.
Liah Alonso and Kelly Halloran are collectively known as Left on Red. Left on Red features Liah on guitar and lead vocals and Kelly on violin, guitar, vocals and drums. Left on Red simply means to take your own direction. This dynamic duo is edgy and entertaining, using their spirited songs and harmonies to inspire positive social and environmental changes in the world. Liah and Kelly will be performing with a full band for this event.
This Other Life is the result of long lasting friendships and musical collaborations that go back 30 years. There's a comfort and openness to their music and approach to performing their original songs. This Other Life features Meg Gehman, Fred Kentner, Erica Vazquez, and Jim Conner.
