Roller Derby: Hamilton Hosts Rochester!
Hamilton, ON, Canada - The Hammer City Roller Girls (HCRG) are having an action packed season of hard hits and female athleticism. The Hammer City Harlots are gearing up to hit the track in their second home game of 2011. The newly re-aligned Hammer City Harlots will host Roc City Roller Derby's B-Team on Saturday, July 9th at the Dave Andreychuk (Mountain) Arena. The doors open at 6:00pm, and the first whistle is set for 7:00pm.
Hammer City has lined up against Roc City on the flat-track before. It has been two years since RCRD defeated the HCRG Death Row Dames 119 58. The Hammer City Harlots, who recently competed in the CWRDA Blood Spill on the Hill tournament , are hungry for victory. With a new focus on strategy and heavy hitting, the Harlots are ready to take on Rochester.
2010 was an impressive season for Roc City. With momentum from last year's success, July 9th's bout promises an evening of competitive derby-action.

Location: HCRG's July home game will be played at Dave Andreychuk (Mountain) Arena, 25 Hester Street in Hamilton. The HCRG's August home game will be played at JL Grightmire (Market Street) Arena, 35 Market Street South in Dundas, Ontario.
Tickets: For adults, tickets are $11.00 in advance and $13.00 at the door. Children's tickets 12yrs old and under and are $5.00, children under 5 free. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to our community partner, Volunteer Hamilton.
