FOR AMERICA: Tribute to the New World
Join Sonatasia as we celebrate the birth of our nation in a very special way, at private performace in a spectacular modern home in Newport Beach. We will perform a wide variety of music about America, written for and inspired by Her. Sonatasia is more than a performance, it is a thrilling experience of music, song, dance, and drama in a beautiful architectual setting, and the action takes place all around you! There is no stage, the stage is everywhere and the house becomes a theater.
Pianist Jonathan Paul Cambry is featured with soprano Karrah O'Daniel, violinist Lacy Rostyak, and dancers from Axxiom Dance Collective with choreography by Joei Waldron. Program includes: Hoedown from Rodeo by Aaron Copland Slap That Bass by George Gershwin Star Spangled Banner Variations by Rachmaninoff ...and many others
