We're bringing all the fun to downtown Saratoga tonight! Bella's Bartok is a Balkan-inspired, circusy six-piece band that makes the audience bounce up and down and Smile--right from the first song! Punk horns, reeds, accordion, piano, scratchy guitars and group harmonies are infectiously fun. It's "A charming melodic noise party with just the right amount of sinister. " Sharing the night is Kaatskillachia (a person who sometimes answers to the name Matthew Heckler) who is often seen on stage these days with Troy songman Sean Rowe. He plays Appalachian banjo and Romani style fiddle really, really well. His sets incorporate songs from all over the world, but especially original folksongs inspired by the wild culture of the Catskill region.
